Nine fairs and art weeks across Asia and Aotearoa New Zealand, in date order. Every date below comes from the organiser or its announcements, checked on 17 October 2026.
How to use this list
These are the major contemporary art fairs and city-wide art weeks in Asia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Most run for three to five days, with a VIP preview the day before public opening.
Dates and venues change between editions. Check the organiser's site before booking flights or accommodation. Fairs whose next dates have not been announced are listed separately at the end, without dates.

November 2026: Tokyo and Kyoto
Art Week Tokyo runs 4–8 November 2026 across galleries and museums in the city. Art Collaboration Kyoto follows on 7–9 November 2026, so one trip can cover both.
January to March 2027: Singapore, New Delhi and Hong Kong
ART SG opens the year at Marina Bay Sands during Singapore Art Week. India Art Fair follows in New Delhi in February. Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Central overlap in late March, so one Hong Kong trip covers both.
May to November 2027: Auckland, Jakarta and Tokyo
Aotearoa Art Fair, formerly Auckland Art Fair, is the closest of these to Australia and runs in May at the Viaduct Events Centre. Art Jakarta returns in October. Tokyo Gendai moves from Yokohama to Ariake GYM-EX in Tokyo for its fifth edition in November 2027.
Dates not yet announced
Frieze Seoul moves to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) for 2027. Kiaf SEOUL continues its partnership with Frieze, with joint tickets planned. Neither organiser has published 2027 dates on the linked pages. They have run in early September in recent years. Check the organisers for dates and venues before planning a trip.
