Art Fairs helps people find art outings in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Our calendar and guides are compiled from linked sources. A listing is not a claim that we have personally attended an event.
Where event details come from
We use organiser, venue and other identified event sources for dates, locations and visitor information. Each event page links to its source and displays a checked date. A checked date describes a source review at that time, not a guarantee that the program has stayed the same.
Uncertain and recurring dates
Unconfirmed dates stay out of dated calendars and calendar downloads. Monthly editions use announced dates rather than an assumed pattern. Weekly markets use a bounded recurrence. Check the organiser for cancellations, public-holiday changes, final admission times and individual workshop bookings.
How we select guides
Monthly guides offer a manageable shortlist with a mix of formats, locations and visitor interests. They are not exhaustive rankings. Practical buying and visiting suggestions are Art Fairs editorial advice; factual references are linked where used. Guides show their publication or update date, and dated guides remain clearly labelled as archives after their month has passed.
Authorship and assistance
Guides are published under Art Fairs. AI tools assist with drafting and site production; source links let readers check the event facts. We do not present generated text as an artist’s own words, invent quotations or describe visits we have not made.
Artists, images and independence
Artwork is credited on the site. Interviews and biographies require artist review before publication. Listings are free, and Art Fairs takes no commission on artwork sales. The guides published at launch contain no paid placements or affiliate links. Any future sponsorship should be clearly labelled.
Updates and corrections
